he is Alexiel's younger, twin brother. Before the war began, he was the kindest angel in Heaven. He was also the former "Voice of God" and ruler of Heaven. After realizing that his body was slowly going to grow younger and that his mind was going to go insane, he asked his sister to kill him. Since Alexiel could not do so, she sealed him away, deep inside of the Earth. *spoilers* In Volume 20, Rosiel is considered the "Angel of Destruction". When "The Angel of Destruction" kills the one he loves, the entire world must end. But, Setsuna/Alexiel stops this from happening. Rosiel gives Setsuna his wings and wants Setsuna to keep hating him like he always had.
