| Mandla the guide took us to his home in the Kliptown area of Soweto. This young, intelligent, multi-lingual university-educated man lives in a shack made out of corrugated iron, wood and cardboard, with no running water and electricity from a car battery. Visiting his house was an awkward experience for me. |
