Chapter 5
"Zac, honey, could you please leave us alone with your brother? We’d like to have a talk with him. Okay sweetie?" Diana looked like she was about to break down and cry any second now. Her voice was barely audible and she was having a hard time controlling her shaking body.
"Yeah, sure" He slowly went up to her and took her in his arms with a big embrace. "I love you mom" and then he left the room without another single word said.
Once the door was closed and they were certain nobody could listen in on their private conversation, Walker came up to Taylor’s side, sitting on his bed. He sighed deeply and Taylor knew this wasn’t a good sign. "Your mother and I, we uh, Taylor, son, we’re tired, extremely tired of you hiding things from us. We can’t go on like this anymore. We know there’s something wrong, why didn’t you tell us about…"
"Why Taylor? Why?" Diana couldn’t handle the pressure anymore. She put her hands up to her face and let herself cry. "I…*sniff* I…what have you done with my son? Who are you?" She started shaking him vigorously, trying to get HER Taylor back.
"Di, please, stop shaking him, you’re hurting him" Walker looked apologetically at Taylor and tried to get his wife to calm down. This wasn’t going to solve anything.
