It is said that Cabbage Patch Kids were designed to look like mentally challenged babies. The "Kids" were created around the time that nuclear war was a major fear. They were to resemble what would happen to children if a war would break out.
I don't know what to believe about this Urban Legend, but if it is true, that's terrible!
