zone is free from Acer products! If you don't want trouble with your equipment, never buy an Acer product. I have had a bad experience with an AcerNote 350E notebook (worth 1600 USD 3 years ago!!!). After 2 years work in good environmental conditions and extreme care, the overpriced piece of equipment refused to work. The service personnel at RISK Electronics (Sofia, Bulgaria, distributor of the product) removed the problem but only for 8 months, then the failure repeated. The service technician first refused to tell me what was the reason for the fault, then they told me this kind of failure was common to the Acer notebooks, because the motherboard was with bad solder joins and when bending it all hidden defects become real ones. The Acer Germany Inc. offered me a spare motherboard for only 365 USD (and later 250 USD)!!! So be warned! |
