22 June 2001 I've added a lot of new movie summaries. Special thanks to Hunter for writing some as well. He also tells me that you can catch a .com For Murder trailer at this link. 13 June 2001 According to blackstar The Claim will be released on video to rent in the UK from August 13. I've added a few more movie summaries and there will be more on the way. 5 June 2001 First of all I've just found out that Exposed will be shown on the UK channel Carlton Cinema on June 15th. I was looking for that movie for the last couple of years and if I hadn't found an old video tape online I would be doing backflips right about now! Hopefully this will be good news for someone else who's been looking for it. I've started a new section of the page that I'm calling At a Glance Movie Summaries. It's my intention to write a short overview of Nastassja's movies as I see them. Eventually I'll have some sort of guide that people can use to find out what her movies are about and how much she's in them. I know that I would have appreciated such a guide over the last few years to help with the video hunting! I've done three movies so far. Let me know what you think of the format. 2 June 2001 Added two new pictures to Gallery 2. 27 May 2001 Hunter wrote to tell me that he saw a new Nastassja video at Blockbuster. It's called Blind Terror and doesn't seem to be listed anywhere. "At first I thought it was an existing film that was re-titled, but it's not. It's something totally new, and apparently not very many people know about it yet." The following description can be found at: ca.news.yahoo.com/010319/6/3knl.html Nearly two decades after playing the feline villain/heroine of Cat People, Nastassja Kinski has settled into a B-movie career as a damsel in distress. She can still pull off the shy ingenue bit, and if they ever remake the Perils of Pauline, Kinski should star. Here she's a talented interior designer two years into mourning for her beloved late husband. Finally she meets a nice guy and without thinking leaps into a Vegas marriage. But almost immediately she begins to get threats, increasingly menacing, and all signs point to an obsessively jealous ex-girl friend of her new hubby. The plot sets everyone up as a possible psycho killer, but attentive viewers will figure it out long before the usual suspenseful climax. Montreal subs for Chicago and that allows Canada's Gordon Pinsent to contribute a colourful cameo as a classical music-loving detective hired by Kinski. Many thanks to Hunter for getting in touch with the info. 21 April 2001 Here are three April stories from Yahoo news... Julia Returns Home, starring Nastassja Kinski and Lothaire Bluteau, is a contemporary story about a woman who seeks the help of a healer for her ill child. Filming begins in September on the German-Canadian-Polish co-production. Kiefer Sutherland has signed to star as French painter Paul Gauguin in Le Studio Canal Plus' biopic of the post-impressionist artist opposite Nastassja Kinski for Australian writer-director Mario Andreacchio. The $6 million-budgeted Paradise Found (aka "Gauguin") is scheduled to go before cameras in May, with shooting slated for Australia and Prague. Kinski will play the role of his wife, Mette. Arthur Hiller will direct Say Nothing, a dramatic love story. It will star Armand Assante, Nastassia Kinski and Hart Bochner. Hiller's readying an April 23 start in Halifax, with other locations in the Caribbean. 20 April 2001 I've scanned in an article from a 1984 UK movie magazine. I've also added the cover image of Nastassja. There's also another link. 10 April 2001 Andrea found an article on an Australian site and kindly sent it to me. It's the same one that appeared in The Sunday Telegraph in January and I had been meaning to add it. You can find it here. I've also added another Link. 4 April 2001 I've added 12 new pictures to the Image Gallerys. Ten of them are my original scans. (Two of which are replacements.) I've also added another Link. 1 April 2001 Something I've been meaning to do since January... Added a press release for Nastassja's new movie ".com For Murder". Quite a good Nastassja related weekend. Moon in the Gutter arrived in the post yesterday morning. Tonight One From the Heart is on a UK digital channel. And I should have a tape of Exposed sometime in the next week. Speaking of which, Phil emailed me to tell me that amazon.com are selling an exclusive video of Exposed. As far as I know it's not on sale anywhere else (apart from second hand copies on ebay). 25 March 2001 Added seven new pictures to Gallery 3. Added Stay as You Are page. Added Articles page. 10 March 2001 Added four new Links. 6 January 2001 Added 17 more pictures to Gallery 4. |
