After years of playing on various fronts of the metal underground Joe Raimondo, Rob "bass" Melhado and Dave Gourley have merged into the newest and heaviest power trio east of the Mississippi in 2002.
During the spring of 2001 Joe and Rob were playing together in the sinister metal band 'Arch Demon Choir'. After a year of holding down the bottom end, Rob had chosen to leave the band due to "internal differences" with the guitar player. He then focused himself on his other project 'Center of Poverty'. Joe stayed with ADC and was searching for a new bass player.
Dave was looking for a band to play in after his project 'Blank Rune' had run out of steam. He was approached by the vocalist of ADC after jamming with the singers' other band 'Witches of Moodus'. Soon he had filled the spot that Rob had left open. After a few months of rehersing Dave also left due to the same "internal differences". Joe took the opportunity to step out of the band as well.
By the winter of 2001 Rob was looking for another creative outlet. Joe knew this and was eager to play out so he called Dave and Rob to get together to jam. All the elements for a power trio were united.
Within the first month of jamming Rob booked a surprise gig. When the club promoter asked what the band was named, Rob replied "Just put down undecided" since a name wasn't discussed with Dave or Joe. After the gig went well Dave revised the name to 'Undecidead' to better suit the style of music.
They have just released a 3 song demo of original metal entitled 'DEMO 2002' and plan to finish their debut record by the end of the summer. Originality is rare in a scene full of trend followers which is what makes 'Undecidead' a band truly unique..
