Fred sat twirling her hair, in her hands. Cordelia walked in, "Hey. How are you doing?"
"Fine. I'm just fine.." Fred's normal enthusiasm, was nowhere to be found.
Which quite frankly, made Cordelia a little nervous.
"Look, I'm sorry about before. I am just trying to look out for you, I don't want to see you get hurt... or Angel." Cordy let her eyes rest on the floor, below her.
"I understand. Its just when I'm with him-"
"I know. He has got the handsome thing down. But that doesn't mean you can't meet someone new- ah ha! I have got an idea... How would you like to go out on the town tonight?" Cordelia's face brightened instantly.
*Never a good sign.* Fred thought with a laugh, to herself.
"Well, that sounds... great!" Fred's enthusiasm only pushed Cordy further over her edge.
"Great! Be ready at 6!" With that the brunette bounced out of her room.
"Great! Great? No.... not great! What am I going to wear?" Fred stood up and ran toward her closet.

[1 hour later]
Cordelia poked her head into Fred's room, almost bursting into a blunt laugh.
There sat Fred, twirling through everything she owned. Which happened to be, not very much.
Fred was heading toward blind panic.
"Why didn't you say something?" Cordy grabbed the girl's hand and led her toward the lobby.
"Where are you going?" Angel's soft voice startled the two girls, making everyone jump.
"Shopping." Cordelia said shortly and began walking, having to drag poor Fred alongside her.
"Oh." Angel began to walk away, then stopped himself. "Why?"
"Cordelia says, to get over-to meet new people, I should look respectable." Fred fixed her mistake, this time before it came out.
"Don't you mean sleazy?" Wesley joked, as Cordelia glared at him.
"Well, not that it IS any of your business, but I am taking Fred out to meet someone new tonight. Someone normal."
Angel winced as he watched his girls walk out the door.
"Be careful." Angel stated, worriedly.
Cordelia only held up a stake, without looking back, then exited the hotel. Fred followed helplessly behind her.

"How does it look?" Cordelia stood outside Fred's dressing room.
"Like I have no figure." Fred complained from behind the door.
"That's the fifth outfit you tried on! We are going to miss the club's opening... Plus, we still have to get shoes!" Cordelia whined.
Fred stepped out, twirling for the brunette.
"Now, what is wrong with that?" Cordelia looked at the simple white dress the girl was draped in.
"You really like it?" Fred smiled, laughing as well.
"I love it! Now get dressed and bring that puppy out, so we can charge it!" Cordelia smiled, after the girl stepped back in she sighed looking at her watch.
Her phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Yes. Angel, we are fine!"
"What?... That's not fair! This is Fred's night away from you!"
"Fine."
Cordelia cursed to herself, hanging up the phone. Fred poked her head out of the room.
"Was that Angel?" Fred's eyes light up.
"Yes." Cordelia glared, trying to make the girl snapped out of the Angel fixation.
"I guess, they are tailing a suspicious demony thing... and guess where they are going?"
"Where?"
"With us!" Cordelia shook her head and looked up toward heaven.
"A little help please?"
~*~
The music pumped out of the large speakers, making the air shake. Cordelia loved it, the feel of the vibration against her heart, it was such a rush.
"Its been so long, I almost forgot what its like here." She marveled.
Fred stood in awe, watching the people dance, rather dis-tastefully.
"Come on!" Cordy pulled Fred out on the dance floor and began swaying to the techno music.
Fred began to catch on and laughed. "This is so exhilarating!"
Cordelia laughed and kept dancing. A jolt of electricity rang through Cordelia's body when she felt hands on her. They guided her, rubbing her in all the right ways. She suddenly forgot where she was, and who she was. She rubbed up against the muscular body against her. She felt a fever of heat wash through her. Vision was blurry, she tried to keep the tempo of the music, but all was lost once the hands slid up to her stomach.
Cordelia caught her breath, daring to look back. She gasped at the sight.
"Angel?"
