A Legendary Warrior

I had the blessing of visiting and spending my birthday with my family this June in Virginia. Visiting me also was my Auntie Rhonda and my youngest sister, Jessica who came to see me all the way from Ohio.

For my birthday they bought me a book that has changed my life. The book being 'Jesus Freaks dc Talk and The Voice of the Martyrs' I never did have time to sit down and read the book, while I was in America. The next scene happened when I flew back home. Please allow me set the scene. There I was, walking onto the plane with the darkest make-up on, chains galore hanging off my pants and my smiley calvin kleins seeing the day light. With spikes galore coming from my lip, wrist and neck choker, I got many strange looks. I sat in front of two ladies that realy didn't appreciate the way I looked and sat next to a girl that seemed more than a little nervous. A guy sat at the other side of me, well....he obviously didn't appreciate guys wearing make-up (mmmm I wonder if he wanted to borrow my mascara). Well I set off on the plane, we reached our altitude and I was told that I could breathe and stop screaming (LOL). So I opened the book and started on page 1 (What a good place to start, huh?) reading all the forwards and all, I got to page 17, and it reads:

'Yes, I believe in God' She was 17 years old. He stood glaring at her, his weapon before her face. "Do you believe in God?" She paused. It was a life-or-death question. "Yes, I beleive in God." "Why?" asked her executinor. But he never gave her chance to respond. The teenage girl lay dead at his feet. This scene could of happened in the Roman coliseum. It could have happened in the Middle Ages. And it could have happend in any number of countries around the world today. People are being imprisoned, tortured and killed every day because they refuse to deny the name of Jesus. This particular story though, did not happen in ancient time, nor in Vietnam, Pakistan or Romania. It happend at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, on April 20, 1999. Do you believe in Jesus?

More than a tear came from my eye, my make up was washed off by the tears. As I cried the Holy Spirit moved, He first went to the ladies behind me and I heard them saying nice things about me, the guy at the side of me, he looked at my tears and at me trying to disguise that I was crying. I looked at him, he looked back and smiled and the lady at my side, well who knows what happened to her, she started to talk to me.... and I told her why I was crying.

When we landed in England I didn't see her at the airport, but just perhaps I see her when I get home, because that is where my heart is!
