My generation, your generation has been named as the throw away generation, and from whom?   From the generation who passed through the courts that pornography can be watched on T.V, that have made it illegal to pray in schools.  This is the same  generation of people who have invented machinery to pollute our air and rivers, who have started the destruction of the rain forests and have destroyed a child's innocence by making them fear  walking down the street wearing the latest fashions.  So are we the throw away degenerated generation or have we had adispoluted view of sanity neutered into our lives?   Just because society as a whole says something is right, or even the preacher; that doesn't necessarily mean that that is that.

Surely we can't blame a culture, a class system or a political view.  Nor can we blame a generation.  We can only establish a decade when it all went wrong.  So what if a guy wants to wear make-up, or if a girl wants to shave her hair off her head?   So what if people sit around a camp fire with a spliff talking about life?   Did this not happen in the 1960's also?  The media tells me that if you remember the 60's you were'nt there.   So what is the problem?   Give it a tag of what ever you want.  The solution is this:  That Christ Jesus lived as a young man, as a carpenter who never heard of the designer cologne smells, or wore a three piece suit, nor did He ever wear make-up.  The thing is He lived as an example.  Then He died.  Unlike religion, God did not stay in the grave.  He arose from the grave and He gave the world, and His friends, the opportunity to live.
