Death's Eternity

Rotting flesh falls from my body
As I walk through the halls of death’s
gateway
A voice is calling me toward an open
door
I can feel is sucking me in
The walls are closing in on me
And I walk faster toward the gapping
hole
I hold my pounding heart in my hand
And my skin turns green and eyes go
white
My hair begins to fall out and
fingernails fall off
The opening is pulsing and the hall is
narrow
Cobwebs and spider webs cling to my
face
I reach the door as my wrinkling flesh
falls off my face
And I step through into death’s eternity
