stands still

You wonder where you’ll be when life stands still – and time has left nothing – when the pitter patter of rain no longer falls on the double pained window that holds you in this room – and the clock no longer ticking that senseless harmony that some how should be part of the Chinese torture session – and the arms of the clock have stopped at six zero six - it seems to no longer be wasting away the seconds, minutes, hours spent staring in to the nothingness that comes from time lost – when yesterday becomes today and tomorrow seems so faraway – you wonder where you’ll be when life stands still – when the wind can no longer graze your face and between the strands of your hair and the sound of its sweet whistling as it dances pass your ear – when all this is silent will we just stand still
