Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia

Phi Mu Alpha is a worldwide music fraternity. Membership is not limited to music majors or to those in certain music programs (as Kappa Kappa Psi is limited to band members). Any male who is interested in music may pledge.


The Nu Omega chapter of Phi Mu Alpha existed at HPU from 1971 until 1992. It failed for one reason or another.

In the spring semester of 1996, an effort was made to re-colonize the Nu Omega chapter at HPU. This effort was a dismal failure. It started out well, but failed due to power struggles and infighting.
