the Breakfast Club had almost nothing to do with the movie of the same title.
It had more in common with the Dead Poets' Society.
One night in Fambrough's a bunch of us were having deep and interesting conversations.
When they kicked us out, we moved to the balcony (which was open at the time).
We talked for a long time, then got hungry (early morning hours).
Then we moved to Skillet's (formerly Kettle) and continued our discussion over breakfast.
Hence the name.

The Breakfast club continued for a while meeting sporadically (usually on Tuesday nights, I think).

As far as I know, it does not exist today.
