a brief introduction to Zonk:

Zonk is a different breed of animal than the fraternity.
It is an antifraternity. (Read the definition of "anti", and the other definitions.) It is both against fraternities and a substitute for them.

We oppose fraternities and the spirit of fratism, but we don't hate anyone. We do not have hate for frats or the individual members of frats. If we did so, we would be no better than those we oppose.
We still associate with frat boys and even have frat boys as friends. We don't hate them, we just disapprove of their actions.

Also, we don't kick out graduates and call them "alumni." We do not restrict ourselves to current or former students. Students, professors, alumni, friends, and donut shop owners are welcome.

Zonk has an international presence both on and off of university campuses.

Unlike fraternities, Zonk really doesn't have too terribly many secrets. We have inside jokes, but no secrets.
We don't haze or engage in illegal activities. There is no stereotype or mold that we make you fit into. (DPA!)
