The image is from Angel Sanctuary, which has gorgeous artwork, I must say. I made the layout with Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and the effect I used on the picture was Sumi-E and then I put a faded print of the original picture on it. Thats all (:

The name of this site, Unfurled Splendor, comes from the lyrics to Music of the Night, one of the most gorgeous songs every from the broadway play The Phantom of the Opera. The actual lyrics are: "night unfurls its splendor", but I just changed it to Unfurled Splendor for name purposes. (:
