Five Hospitality Seniors Travel To New York

   Just to promote the UNH Hospitality Department, 5 WSBE students traveled the distance to the Javits Center in New York to answer questions about the UNH Hospitality Department and keep up alumni relations. Although traffic was atrocious, Dan Andersen, Krista Mahokin, Ken Hayner, Kristen, and Lena Chan made it to meet Dr. Goodman outside the center at 10am, set up and start working. The trip was a success. They managed to give out information to prospective students, talk do a dozen or so alumni who are now working in various fields across the country, and also meet the Executives of certain companies that the five students had aspirations to work for.

After a hard days work the group still managed some culture, seeing the Broadway show RENT, enjoyed fine Chinese Cuisine in China Town, and was toured around by Alumnus Steve Correa who showed them some of the fun sites of New York City.
