The Real Me
My name will remain anonymouse but you can call me either Nosferatu or Unholynemesis, either is fine.
At first, it was dinosaurs. I loved dinosaurds! Then, it became Jurrassic Park, and then Alien. I was crazy about Alien and couldn't watch it enough times (and I still am)! Then, I was into The X-Files and I realized hey, people do actually see UFOs. So, I made my first web site, all about UFOs and The X-Files, and since then, I've neglected it. But now I'm into horror movies and I hope I won't abandone this site. This is all so cool. What do all these have in common? Monsters. I crave monsters.
NEVER could I get enough monsters! Well, now, that I'm older I tend to not call them monsters. My age? 14. I'll turn 15 in Febuary. I'm trying to save up money to make a horror movie of my own. I hope to save up around $50, and use some of my friends and family as actors.
I have such an intense interest in the unholy, the bizzare, the complexity of the universe, and the hard science of alien theorization and supernatural theorization that it is only natural for me to want to express myself in horror and to see others expressions...
I also love science fiction, and think that there is a connection between the two prior to common horror fan belief. I believe that the connection is not in the fact that both have monsters but in the Lovecraftian theme and the Dante mideaval themes and in Frankenstien by Mary Shelly.
First off, Frankenstien was science fiction, not horror. How?
I'm interested in literature and the basic definition of the science fiction subject is pertaining to science and yet fiction or based on the science of the time and expressed in a fictional manner that often conveys the author's view of the future or monsters from space or other science areas like radiation (Godzilla for example). Now, when we look at it like we see almost all horror as science fiction. However, horror fiction is only the art of expressing stories of phobias in writing.
Then, Dante. Well, the science of the middle ages was very barbaric and was mainly theology based. Therefore, Dante was an ancient science fiction author although Mary Shelly invented the science fiction novel hundreds of years later and was followed by Jules Verne and H. G. Wells.
Now, onto the Lovecraftian. H. P. Lovecraft, a pop horror author in the '20's wrote books like Herbert West Reanimator and the necronomicon stuff that broke the bounderies of horror in to new dimensions. He wrote of strange unspeakable horrors that defied the fabrics of space and time to consume humans and wreak terror. His books were always science based and put alot of Albert Einstein's ideas into the genre.
Now, try and tell me you don't understand the complexity that I am and the knowledge I have of horror movies and literature and their roots.
Furthermore, just take my word about this horror stuff. I know what I'm talking about.
'Nuff said.
