Dhampires
"Tokyo, 2002"
Game Master: Michal "Amiboshi" Kucera
Children of an orphanage, children of unknown parents. In reality half vampires and half mortals - the dhampires. Nasty children capable of torturing animals and beating up their younger school-mates. For this demonic behaviour the teachers punish them severely (e. g. tie the child's hands up and let the little brat hanged in the gym for many hours). Being born after the "Two Fires" of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the dhampire's supernatural blood is "tainted", which is enough reason for their immortal parents to try to kill them and thus "correct this small mistake".
Lucie Lukacovicova: Kageno Shi, sixteen years old girl, pale, with sharp features, cold eyes and distant look. Skilled in martial arts, tortured by nightmares, able to read the feelings and thoughts of others - full of contradictions. People are often unconsciously atracted to her. But she is atracted to all things dead and dying. She turned out to be an incarnation of lady-general Kage the Dragon-kissed, the Sun-child. When regaining her memories, she returns full of rage to avenge the torture and death of her friends - from past and present life alike.
Now my diamond's clouded over
Peter "Crinos" Szmuda: Honda Buncho, eighteen years old, the oldest, strongest and the leader of the group. He's tall, with broad shoulders and heavy fists. Buncho considers Nakata his right hand and he quite likes Shi. He even brings her presents - dead mice, birds or kittens. He fell in a trap the Elder vampires had set, was captured and executed. His epitaph should have been: "Buncho, who spent all his life hanging." (Hanging in the gym as a punishment, hanging bound when caught by vampires, hanging over fires of Hell...) The problem is, that with a strong demon in his soul, he'll escape from Hell and he'll be back as a vampire. As a very angry vampire.
Danger hidden in his eyes,
David "Eob" Korejtko: Koji Nakata is clever and sneaky, he likes to cheat and usually doesn't tell everything he knows to his friends. He has the gift of getting out of trouble on the expense of others. People around him somehow get awfully often unpleasantly surprised. He was trapped along with Buncho and killed like a "useless and tainted thing". Being less demonic than Buncho, Nakata won't be released from the reincarnation cycle and he'll be reborn. That's the trouble in Japan - nearly anything you kill will return in a moment!
Paranoia or perception?
Ondrej "Atlan" Morava: Hitoshi is the most lucky member of the group. In fact he is absolutely unnaturaly lucky. When he's playing any game of fortune, he can't manage to lose, even when he tries. His hobby is the art of photography, he likes to take pictures - especially of hanged Buncho.
Hitoshi looked after Shi and defended her even in appearently lost combat. Together with her he managed to find the free dhampires, who formed Shi's army. He survived and joined in the war against Elder vampires.

Player Characters:
Where it used to shine like light,
And the day keep running faster
Into the arms of night...
We should have seen it from far away,
Wearing such a thin disguise
in the light of day!
Put your faith in liar's hands
Wanting to believe his words
But never knowing were he stands.
When hearts beat in another time,
Ever changing, the clock ticks on,
If only in your mind.
