I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked,
and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.

    Inherit the night!

One evening a man is shot dead on a street of Bratislava. Two gunners run. But when Gabriel Lazar kneels to the dead body, the man with two holes in his chest rises and hits Gabriel so hard, that Lazar is killed. People run away and scream. Only Nadya and Viktor, two students - returning from training with their swords - stand their ground and kill the undead thing.
Something else gets hold of Gabriel's body, something powerful yet childish and unknowing... Nadya's and Viktor's friends start to disappear... And the world will never be the same again.
Seeking help, Gabriel, Nadya and Viktor meet Carlos, a hacker, programator and occultist, who looks for fun and amusement. And the real "fun" is about to begin, when the monsters of the night are unleashed!
Flesh eating zombies, false identities, corrupted policemen, the mysterious Mr. Shadow-in-the-face and his gang, living dead and nowhere to hide... Even a rat fights when cornered.

Inherit the world! Hell has come to Earth and we are the thin red line!

    Player Characters:

Lucie Lukacovicova: Nadya Valarova, Hunter Defender - is a student of librarianship. She likes old books, ancient languages and quiet studying. She is skilled in a chinese martial-dance art with a chinese sabre. Nadya looks like someone, whose face whas designed by a goth who likes manga: pale skin, long black hair, big dark eyes, small thin lips which seem more violet than red, as if she was freezing all the time. She has a face of a sad child. When her parents disappeared (kidnapped by the agents of Pentex), she considers them dead already, although she hasn't seen the bodies. Her longing for normal life is useless and she knows it.

Ctibor "Corim" Petru: Viktor, Hunter Avenger - iresponsible, self-centered and light-hearted student of Phys. Ed. and master of fencing. He's handsome and clever, but unreliable, likes to provoke anybody around, which sometimes isn't really the best idea. He likes to drink a lot and even more he likes to teach Gabriel to drink.

Petr "Pieta" Jonak: Gabriel Lazar, Eastern Dragon - incarnated in a body of Viktor's friend, who died, killed by a Pentex agent. He can't read, he doesn't know anything from the human world, he's like a small child. Nadya tries to take care of him, she taught him to write and read. Viktor tends to destroy all Nadya's pedagogical influence and teaches the dragon how to use a machine-gun and to get drunk. Gabriel's mere presence often causes that any technical device stops working - cars, cell-phones, computers, no matter what. Thanks to his magical powers he's able to solve some problems in a surprising way, e. g. to blast the enemy's car off with a fallen meteorite.

Lukas "Kid" Chalupnicek: Carlos, Kitsune - a programator and hacker, with short hair dyed in rainbow-style, able to live only on pizzas and beer. He tries to seduce Nadya all the time and he's surprised, that he doesn't succeed (maybe it's because he makes his proposals five minutes after Nadya killed somebody for the first time and then she found a dead body of her friend in the enemy's car?). Recently he went through the First Change and revealed that he's a Kitsune, a werefox. Only his supernatural speed saved Gabriel and Viktor when a Blackspiral Dancer and her minions attacked.

    Game's Over...

    Do uší doléhaj' chvatný kroky,
    blikání majáků neruší klid,
život si odtéká do blízký stoky,
je pozdě na plány, je pozdě snít.

Gabriel is not an incarnated dragon - he's a marauder, a mad mage, who changes reality around him. Protected by the Hunters and the Kitsune, he causes all their suffering, which in the end is not real at all! There are no Pentex agents, there are no Fomoirs and flesh eating zombies! How many innocent people has the fellowship killed in madness?
But Nadya, held hostage by Pentex agents (although they exist only in her insane mind), runs away without help of her copmanions. Reality changes around her, the marauder's influence disappears. Nadya, disillusioned about her "friends" who didn't come to rescue her, chooses to continue alone.
But she is found by someone... Someone else, whose attention was attracted by the horrible deeds of the marauder...
Few hours later the TV News announce that Nadya Valar was shot by the police. Carlos and Viktor seek passage to Hungaria, not knowing, that their curse and misfortune is Gabriel, who walks by their side. But they don't believe that Nadya is dead. And they are absolutely right.
