Entry for January 01, 2007 NYTINGALE SONG
1994 A traveling missionary priest I known him as Ryan from England, visit me in the hospital, I was not feeling well, He gifted me a paperpack book intittles NYTINGALE SONG, The back cover page look so familliar, it was a charcoal sketch drawing of a mango trees in threesome stick together I remember I sketch that picture way back 1985 during summer vacation, back in Grands royal homestead at the back of the public school donated by our family back 1935, It was sketch done hastily actually, I remember it was already dawn when I reach home, and Dad Eugenio was so happy to see those trees, I asked Dad whats so special with those trees, He laugh aloud and said it was planted by your father, I answered what father? Alimudin Estrael he answered bluffing.
I was so touched with James Anjiro in the book, And I was inpired to draw this plate,I know it does not give justice, I was facinated with the idea of the pigtail...sorry the picture was badly taken from a cellular...
