There is a new winner for title of best tire I've used on my unicycle.  It is again a Kenda, but it is the K-Rad.  This thing can go anywhere.  It was made for BMX bikes, but it seems to like being stuck to my unicycle.  It is a 20" x 2.125 tire with a square-ish knobby pattern, and each of the knobbies are textured for extra grip.  I've used this tire on snow, ice, mud, grass, dirt, and everything in between.  While it is not quite as good for ice and mud, it does a lot for the price.  I picked this tire up for under 20 bucks (Canadian) at Canadian Tire. Go figure.  This tire earned an 8.75 on the Uni-Scale.  It wasn't quite good enough for a 9, but it was too good for an 8.5.  *Picture will hopefully be coming soon.*

This is the amazing Kenda Kontact tire!  It is ideal for semi-rough terrain (such as hard packed trails), yet it is still smooth on pavement.  Another good thing about this tire is the fact that it is quite wide (20" x 1.90"). I give it an 8 out of 10 on the Uni-Scale.  I love this tire.

This is the infamous duct tape El Cheapo air seat.  It consists of a 20" tire tube duct taped onto a United-style seat.  It makes it harder to hold the seat, but it's a lot more comfortable.  Unicyclists know a comfy seat when they sit on one.  It ain't pretty, but it gets the job done.  That little black thing sticking down in the bottom right of the pic to our left is the air valve.  You have to be able to make adjustments in air pressure and such you know.  This cost about $5.  All in all, an 8.5 overall, and a 10 for value.
Duct tape???  Yes, you are correct.  Those silver parts on the side of my seat are indeed strips of duct tape.  I wasn't looking for that racing stripe look when I did this.  The United-style seat that is on my uni is a killer on my legs.  When I hop, sometimes my legs rub against the side of the seat.  The bottom of that side is sharp.  The duct tape covers it over with a smooth, protective, comfortable layer.  It SO much more comfortable.  If you have experienced this problem, here's your dirt cheap solution.
