Your Absence by Sherry 'Uni' Jones |

There is no moment I feel your absence most Than every breath I take.. My arms ache to hold you, feel you; My body left wanting too. Accursed time and distance separates us Keeping you from me, where you belong. My ears wish to hear the smile in your voice, And the soft sigh of your love. Though my mind consoles, saying our time is near, Still I sigh as I lay alone In our bed, Without you. Your abscence is noted by every thought, Every memory, every song. Not a part of me isnt aware That you are gone. My dreams fill with your presence As our souls meet, lips kissing Entwining, becoming one. The sun shines and I awake In our bed, Without you. |
