Train-up singing skill Target group: 5-9 years old Number of students: max 30 Materials: CD with "Seven Steps" Steps: 1. Teach the student to sing "Seven Steps" 2. Add motions for the melody and ask student to walk according to the melody. 3. Divide the whole class into two groups and form two concentric circle. 4. Teacher plays the CD. Students walk in clockwise. Ask student to jump to the left/ right/ in/ out after they sing a sentence. 5. Then ask students to clap hands with a student nearby and say "Hey" 6. Repeat the above steps until the student learn the song. |
