Objective:
1. Following the melody of music

Target group: 5-9 years old
Number of students: max 30
Materials: CD with "Seven Steps"

Steps:
1. Teach the student to sing "Seven Steps"
2. Add motions for the melody and ask student to walk according to the melody.
3. Divide the whole class into two groups and form two concentric circle.
4. Teacher plays the CD. Students walk in clockwise. Ask student to jump to the left/ right/ in/ out after they sing a sentence.
5. Then ask students to clap hands with a student nearby and say "Hey"
6. Repeat the above steps until the student learn the song.

Steps:
1. Stick flashcards on the board and pronounce with the whole class
2. Assign numbers to each student
3. No.1 student says "I eat a/an (food)"
4. No.2 student says "I eat a/an (the food mentioned by No.1) and a/an (food) according to the order of flashcards on the board
5. Continue to see who can eat the maximum amount of food
Variation: Teacher may play this games without flashcards on the board

Materials: Shopping bag, Flashcards of food, Apron

Steps:
1. Place flashcards and 2 shopping bags onto the board
2. Each child come to the teacher and buy one thing by reading the word correctly. If correct, put the flash cards into his/her group's shopping bag. Or just give to the child if no group formed

Steps:
1. Put 26 alphabet cards on the ground to make a circle
2. Music in, children walk around in circle. Music stop, children read the alphabet they are standing on

2. Able to identify the alphabet from its shape

Target group: 4-8 years old
Number of students: 6-30
Materials: a small bag, 26 alphabets

Steps:
1. Tell students that a certain amount of alphabets have been put in the bag.
2. Ask students to touch the alphabet in the bag and guess according to its shape.
3. If it's correct, put on the board.
4. When all have been taken out, count the number with students.
5. Winner will come to the group with more alphabets.

Steps:
1. Pronounce Green Light and Red Light with the whole class and teach the traffic rules
2. Ask student to stand up.
3. Students walk and pronounce "Green Light" when teacher raise up the green card. Students stop and pronounce "Red Light" when teacher raise up the red card
4. The student is out if he/she goes against the traffic rule
Variation: Teacher may writes the words at the bottom of the cards

Steps:
1. Revise vocabularies
2. Teacher has a target word in mind.
3. Student ask 'Is it _______?'
4. 1 point will be given to the correct answer.
5. Variation (easier): Teacher can mark a cross under the flashcard of wrong answer to help student guess the right one.

Materials: several small balls, stickers with picture or word, CD

Steps:
1. Put stickers on different balls

3. Play the CD (related to the topic taught). Ask students to pass the ball and need to say the word if they get the ball when music stops.

4. Student who gets the ball needs to answer teacher's question. 1 point will be given to the correct answer.

Target group: 6-8 years old
Number of students: max30
Materials: flashcards, lots container (with all student number)

Steps:
1. Draw a "#" on the board
2. Place the flashcards into nine boxes
3. Divide the whole class into two groups
4. Pick a lot from the container of one group and ask that student to choose a box
5. Circle the box if the student pronounce the word correctly
6. Repeat the steps with another group (Teacher may use another color of pen to circle the picture)
7. The fastest group who form a line on the board will win
