As a student, you will have regular opportunities to give your views on the strengths and weaknesses of the courses you study and on your general experiences. We seek your views through questionaires, tutorial discussion and open meetings. You will be able to choose your class representative to represent you to curriculum subcommittees, as a two way channel of communication. The students union is another way to make your voice heard. From time to time, external bodies (LAN, MACPA, University Partners) who visit the College wish to meet students and ask about the education they are receiving. |

STAFF DEVELOPMENT |
The staff who teach you, and who provide academic and other services, are supported by a staff development programme. This helps to identify and disseminate good practice in teaching and other skills and to enhance their performance in the class. |
External Benchmark |
The college makes extensive use of external views in its pursuit of excellence. Every module in the programme has at least one curriculum committee which in turn, chair by an external moderator/examiner or professional practioner from outside the College who helps to guarantee comparability of standards and equitable treatment of students in formal academic assessments. For the academic year 2004/2005 we have appointed Professor Siow Heng Loke, Faculty of Education, University of Malaya as our external assessor for Nilai Foundation Programme. |
