Each league game will be last for 90 minutes and divided into 45 minutes half time. Half time break will be 5 minutes. Team will get 3 points if win, 1 point if draw and zero point if lose. Each team captain will be the game monitor to assist the referee in case of need. All substitute will be exchanged in the middle of sportfield. Assistant referee will check the soccer boot and shin-pad must be worn. Only Sport-use goggle (eyeglass) will be allowed.

1. Each team need to has minimum 7 players to start the game. If any team fail to start a game after 5 minutes waiting time, by any reason, once called by the referee, the team will be judged as lose by 0-2. and have to pay the referee fee ($100).
2. There will be 2 rounds for the league among 8 teams this summer, each team will play 14 games. The team with highest point will be the champion of Unionville Chinese Soccer League - The Mannarich Food Inc Champion Cup. However, If two teams with same highest points, goal difference will be counted to identify the champion. If goal difference are same, then team with higher goal scored will be the champion. If goal scored are same, then match result between these teams will decide the Champion . If the result is same, then they will both become Champion (i.e. they will keep the Champion Cup for half year).
3. We mainly use the soccer rules effective from Jul 1,2000 on. More FIFA rules are provided in the attached document. We wish to let more people to share the soccer fun in the summer time with fair game, sportsmanship and mutual respect including the referees. We strongly recommend all team leaders to distribute this document and the attachment (RULES) to their team players, so they can understand how referee make their judgement and avoid any argument if possible.
4. When Referee presents a Yellow or Red card for foul player, fine for cards are CAD$20 (yellow) or CAD $50 (red). All fine should be paid to our Chairmans by next Sat. Player accumulated with 2 yellow cards will be suspended for 1 game and 1 red card for 2 games. Player with 4 yellow or 2 red cards will be highlighted and discussed within the committee meeting of UCSA league to see whether further punishment or correction is needed.
5. We try to protect our players throughout the rules and fair game. However, player who deliberately fight or attack other player will be fine with a Red card and suspend for the whole season.
6. Team fighting (more than one players involved.) or judged by referee report will suspend the whole team.

8. In the league schedule, each team at first will be the home team. The visiting team need to change team jerseys in case of color conflict. We suggest that team leaders should communicate with each other to arrange their jersey before the next game. Team leader contact detail will be list as below :

Above are some basic rules and guidelines for all team leaders and players. The content will be revised and discussed by the committee of UCAS in a monthly basis. Any idea to improve our games and any area are welcome. We sincerely hope that everyone can enjoy the soccer fun during this season.
