Welcome
to Equine Valley
While exploring a wide plain, you hear a sound like distant
thunder. The ground begins to shake beneath you and you stop, wondering what kind of
huge creatures could make the noise. Shading your eyes from the sun with your hand, you
make out a dozen or so of dark figures approaching fastly. Wondering if you should flee, hide, or stay,
you squint and try to figure out what the creatures are that have dust swirling around their heels. As it they get closer, you realize that it is a band of wild horses! You hold your breath as you watch the mix of shoulders, heads, and flying manes and tails..
As the band gets even closer, you see a huge grey stallion that's doing his best to keep the band together. You back up slightly, not wanting to mess with the great stallion or his band.Suddenly, the band rushes past you and gallops away. You spread your arms out to try to keep from falling over as the ground is now shaking violently. You cough and sneeze as the dust fills the air like a thick fog. Soon, the band is rushing farther away from you and the thundering of hooves begins to get quieter and quieter. Wanting to see more of the band and the stallion, you decide to follow it.After of what seems like a long time of following the tracks, you finally come across a huge valley. Off to one side is a stream that flows through the valley and into the forest that you see in the way back. Scanning the area, you easily spot the wild band. But the grey stallion has noticed you first. He shakes his head and snorts. The stallion half-rears then breaks out into a gallop towards you. You freeze, not being able to move. Just when you think the stallion is going to trample you, he skids to a sudden halt in front of you, sides heaving.
"Welcome, I am Fyrn." You aren't really surprized when the grey horse speaks. "You have found Equine Valley, home of my band. Now I suppose you'd like to meet the band since you came all this way? Come then." The stallion turns around quickly and begins to trot towards the band. You sigh and begin to walk. When you reach the band, the grey stallion turns his head to a pinto mare who walks up to you. She sniffs you gently then speaks.
"Good day, I be WildFire, Head mare of this band. You seem worthy enough to meet my band and you have no smell of those death sticks." You assume she must mean guns. "I smell fear in you. No need, we won't hurt you. Feel free to go up to any horse here and talk to them, they don't bite." Wildfire seems to smile and then backs up.You notice two white horses that look almost exactly alike. WildFire notices your puzzled look and tells you that they are her twins. You curiously walk over to them.
"I'm Filly! And this is my brother StarBlaze! We children of WildFire and Fyrn." The one on the right tells you. StarBlaze nods happily and then they go back to grazing. Wondering what horse you should visit next, you notice flashes of rainbow colors. Quickly making up your mind, you eagerly walk over to a liver colored horse. You stare at the horse's rainbow mane and tail. The horse chuckles.
"Hello visitor. I'm Rainmaker, the Wysh. Not wish, but WYsh. A Wysh is a magical horse. I came from
here."Next to Rainmaker is another Wysh. this one's black with a purple mane and tail. You also notice that this one has a unicorn horn."I am Msty. Rainmaker and I are mates. Well, not really mates since we are all a band. Hmmm you know what I mean. I am also a Wysh and I came from the same place as Rainmaker did." You smile and wave goodbye to Msty and Rainmaker.
Just then another Wysh jumps in front of you, head slightly cocked and a sly grin on it's face. Instantly you spot it's markings, pastel colored patches that remind you of Easter. You can tell this Wysh is special although your not sure how. Snorting softly, the Wysh studies you. You stand still and then finally it speaks. "Hello strange one. I can clearly see that you are not a Wysh like me! Well, whatever you aree, my name's Shilori." Shilori says with her head held high and tail swishing back and forth slightly. She smile sat you and you can tell that she's very hyper. "Who are you?" You tell her your name and she nods like she knew it all along. "Ahh... Guess what? I'm a special Wysh! All the others are special too but I mean I'm special! I was won in a Halloween contest. Brook got second place so she won me! First place was a whole herd of Wyshes, that's 3, but I think she's glad she got me. She admires my patches, don't you? I know I know, I look kinda like a Easter Wysh but I'm not!" she snorts and then looks back in the direction that she came from. She then turns back to you. "Sorry, but I hafta go, I told Brook that'd I'd do a favor for her... but I can't tell you since it's a secret.." She grins mysteriously and before you can say more, she gallops off while shouting good-bye over her shoulder. You move on.
Next, is an appaloosa mare with a pinto colt by her side. You stare at the little colt that romps around his mother. Fyrn tells you that the mare is Londy and the colt is Splash.

Next is another pinto mare that's grazing. You walk over to her and she lifts up her head. Snorting softly, she nudges you with her velvety nose.
"My name is Serina. I am one of the newer horses here. Fyrn came and stole me from my mean owner. At first i wasn't too sure of leaving home, but now I am thankful for it." Serina says shyly. She then smiles softly. "Oh yes, why don't you meet our newest mare here? Her name's Kawliga and she's over there." Serina nods her head in the direction of a small paint grazing a little ways off. You didn't notice this mare before. Shrugging, you say good-bye to Serina and jog over to the mare. The mare notices you and nickers a greeting. "Hello!" She cocks he rhead slightly and smiles at you.
"My name's Summer Wind but you may call be Summer for short. How are you today?""I'm very good, thank you. What About you?""Oh I'm good too! You wouldn't have any carrots or apples on you by any chance?" Summer sniffs your pockets and you giggle."Nope, sorry." You pat her on the head. "Why weren't you with the rest of the herd? Oh, and where are you from? I mean, like a stable or something?""For the second question, I came from Amber's Horse Adoptions. As for the first question, Well, sometimes they're just too noisey! I love to listen to the birds and smelling the flowers. I was just taking a break from the others." She smiles and looks at the other horses. That's when you notice that the band has been slowly wandering away while grazing. Summer turns back to you."Well, I must be going. I have to keep up with the band! It was nice talking to you!" Summer nudges you good-bye and you stroke her neck gentley. She kicks up her heels slightly and canters towards the rest of the band who whicker happily as she joins them.
Seeing that there are no more horses you haven't visited and the band has been moving away to better grazing lands, you decide to continue on yourself.
All the horses except for the ones that have already given you a link to where they came from, have come from .
To the far off left, you spot meadow and to the left the, the wide plains continue and end
up turning into a jungle. You could return to the portals if you wanted to. Also, if you follow the trail
your right, it leads on for awhile. In the distance, you see a yellowish/white meadow that
stretchs out as far as the eye can see. You finally figure out that it's a desert. Way off in the back, you see a door standing in the middle of no-where. You make out a sign that says: Awards, banners, and webrings.
