Okay...now if you have a heart I know what you must be saying right now. AWWWWW...isn't he adorable!?! lol
At least that's what I said when I got him. This is Caesar my purebred Chocolate Labrador pup. He was about 6-7 weeks old here. The "Easter Bunny" left us a note to go and take a drive into the country and pick up our surprise. This 12lb 51/2 wk old ball of wrinkles is what greeted us. The kids were thrilled and "mommy" thought Easter would never arrive. I'm a huge animal lover and couldn't wait to bring this little guy home.
He was HUGE! Nothing like what I thought. I saw him at 2 weeks of age and thought I'd be picking up a "little" puppy. HA! He was 12 lbs of solid bulk and barely fit in anyone's lap! Full of wrinkles and extra skin he looked like one of those wrinkle dogs, not anything like a Lab. Everyone wondered if I had been told a story about his parents (his mother a Golden Lab and his father a Choc. Lab). However it didn't take him long to grow out of those wrinkles, although even now at 10 months of age and over 85lbs. he still has a bit of extra skin to fill out.
