St 1's
Wheels/Bearings: Are pretty good, and speedy for a few months then wear out, the bearings are Bearings

Frame:
Almost with all salomon frames they are sticky but these do grind a little better than the older models, but I'd strongly invest on making them UFS so you can put a better Frame on, You'll DEFINITELY see the difference!

Cuff:
Alot of people complain about the cuff cutting into the part above their ankle, But I never had this problem, not even learing topside tricks.. Maybe a little bit on topside mistrail's but not GREAT pain..

Laces:
Whatsup with this?? who ties there laces?? I hated this part of the skate cause you have to tie it.. On my quick lace system I just lock'em in and never tie them, they stay tied!

Last Comments: They are a good begginer skate, but if your looking for a skate with massive soul space, I'd get USD, but you do lose some comfort. As with all skates they have there Pro's and Con's- Solomons have always been comfy, but they do lack some soul space...
