April 29, 2001: XEW Aggrivation: The Extreemists(Nick Bower/Eric Dresh) vs. Administration(Thompson/Anderson)

The Extreemists win in the debut tag team title match that pitted (Scoaracher & Jade)Scott Thompson and Jake Anderson against (Brass/Darrt)Nick Bower & Eric Dresh.

July 24, 2001: Extreemists vacate the titles

Eric Dresh leaves the XEW. Nick Bower is left without a tag parter and vacated the title due to winning the Brutality Wrestling Championship.

July 31, 2001: XEW Tuesday Switchblade: Hybrids(Nova/Elrozz) vs. Internal Rage(Jax/Chaser)

The Hyrbids, an early top dog tag team claim the gold over hand chosen opponents, the team of Jax & Chaser.

August 24, 2001: UWF Elevation: Hybrids(c) vs. Opposites Attract(Simon Terry/Cissy Miyas)

The male/female team of Terry and Miyas win a clean match in their first tag match during their short stint in the UWF, claiming the titles.

September 7, 2001: UWF Elevation: Opposites Attract(c) vs. Methods of Madness(Virus/Tom Hughes)

The Hybrids cost Opposite Attract the titles in their first defense, and new champions are crowned after a very short title reign.

September 27, 2001: Virus vacates his title due to retirement.

A newcomer to the UWF, Michael "Switchblade" McCormick, becomes the new parter of "The Rowdy One" Tom Hughes

November 4, 2001: Universal Phenomenom: Switchblade(c)/Rowdy One(c)/Goliath vs. ReVelation/Nick Bower/Pain

The UWF Tag Team titles become a little more team oriented, allowing a team to consist of as many members as they wish. As such, the team of "The Outlaws" and Pain won a devestating tag match over the former champions to take the gold.

November 23: UWF Elevation: The Outlaws(c) vs. Switchblade & Pain

The Outlaw team of Bower and ReVelation quickly booted Pain from the gold to claim it for themselves. Pain responded by allying with former enemy Switchblade to win the gold and hold it for a month and a half.

January 11, 2002: UWF Elevation: The Blood Brothers(c) vs. The Future & Scorpion Steve

The oddball team of Scorpion Steve and The Future called The Shock Force, won the gold in controverstial fashion, but held onto it for over three and a half months, the most dominant team in history.

April 29, 2002: UWF closes temporarily. Titles are vacated.

July 28, 2002: UWF Universal Pheonomenon 2: The Hit Squad vs. The Midwest Enforcers

Octavius Giovanni & Scorpion Steve, known as The Hit Squad, defeated The Midwest Enforcers to claim the gold. Scorpion Steve began his second tag title reign.

September 3, 2002: UWF AMMO: The Hit Squad(c) vs. The Syndicate(Morpheus/Bloodhound)

In an upset, The Syndicate defeated the dominant champions. This allowed the the breakup of the Hit Squad.

September 27, 2002: UWF Elevation: The Syndicate(c) vs. Octavius Giovanni & Brianna DeLaney

Octavius Giovanni & Brianna DeLaney(The Elite) win the gold on the last UWF show, ending the short reign of The Syndicate. This was Octavius' second reign.

September 27, 2002: UWF closes. Titles are vacated.
