Well, you know how I feel about that present tense third person thing, but this book was different. It was not trying to confuse you be weaving long, complicated, convoluted sentences like that other one we read at ParentsPlace. I couldn't get past page 100...what was it? Fortune's Rocks I think. Anyway...
The style here was somewhat distracting, but the humor and simplicity and intelligence within shined through.
I agree, you feel like people are all losers...then they blossom. And there are valid, real reasons for their change. I think Jeremy's is the funniest...listening to all those tapes on the tour bus. LOL
I guess all this is trying to convey that I liked it too!
