Vangie was sleep walking through life until she discovers Henry and DeeDee together. She was so sad concentrating on her gardening and fixing Henry's meals. She was so clueless that she did not even suspect anything was going on with Henry until she gets the letter. Even then she kinda dismisses the letter.
No big suprise that she did not know what was going on with Olive either. She never did find out that Olive was pregnant, did she.
I was so glad when she went to live on the farm. She stood up for herself and her dignity. She also showed Henry that she did not need him. The little guy who flew the air plane was too cute; putting V's in the sky!
