Wow, weren't the descriptions of the places great! I sure admire her for going all those places on her own and learning Italian. I wish I could speak another language.
I loved how she talked about the restaurants and what the food was like and how the houses looked. How they did things that were ON and OFF the tourist's list of things.
The islands sounded wonderful.
I also liked how she was very honest if she did not like a place. SHe said exactly why she did not like it. I thought it was nice that she also would realize that she might be tired or not in the right frame of mind to enjoy a place.
