Katrina
is helping
Archie put together a website for
Glenbogle. They are placing cameras around different parts of the estate to give visitors a sneak peak at the wonderful views of the Scottish highland. Their first airing is a success bring Katrina and Archie closer together, much to Justine's disliking.
One extra thing Archie has to deal with is the bank. Apart from helping finance
Glenbogle, they are sending a group of employees to the estate on a team building exercise. Nigel, Mary and
Flemming. Nigel does not like the look of Glenbogle, calling it a dump as he would much rather be put up in a five star motel or something of the sort. Flemming on the other hand, loves
Glenbogle, it's peace and quiet with beautiful views. From here we can see that Flemming is a nice guy and very appreciative to the beautiful things in life. Nigel's complaining leads to a lap full of soup thanks to
Lexie. :)
Justine is not a hit at Glenbogle. She seems to be hit with a touch of jealously on account of all the women in Archie's life, including
Lexie. Lexie complains about her to Duncan and Golly, Justine overhearing this, calling her Glenbogle's 'Margaret Thatcher'. And with that, Justine does not improve her position by jealously warning Katrina to stay away from Archie.
That night, when Justine reveals to Archie that the ‘team building exercise' is not that at all, but rather an exercise to choose who should be fired from the bank. Archie's thoughts immediately go to
Flemming. Nice guy, though not one of the fittest.
Hector, sick of all the survival gear piled up on his billiard table, decides to move down to an old cottage until it is all over. Here Molly and Hector get acquainted with the quiet life, while Hector is stunned that he and Molly have to share a bedroom, claiming it’s 'unnatural'.
Archie, trying to cope with Justine's jealousy and the team building exercise, asks Katrina for help. he needs to save Flemming from getting fired, or else he will have no one. Katrina agrees and she and Archie go ahead to the last team building exercise: Mary, Nigel and Flemming are placed in a pit near the lock, with three Jerry cans of petrol in front of them. They much climb out of the pit (without a ladder) and fill up their buggies with petrol and drive back to the castle. All seems to be going well as Nigel climbs out first, using the others as a ladder, but then just scoots off and leaves Mary and Flemming behind so that he can secure himself first place. The pit is starts to flood with water from the loch. This is where Archie and Katrina come to the rescue, Katrina goes to head Nigel off, sending him down a longer track, and Archie pulls Flemming and Mary out of the flooding pit with a ladder, sending them on their way to the castle. On the home stretch, Nigel comes out triumphant, but runs out of petrol just before the finish line, causing Mary and Flemming to win.
After this, Lexie comes across Flemming playing the piano. They talk about their situations: why Lexie came to
Glenbogle, (it was to Forget) and Flemming's situation at the bank ( he doesn’t enjoy working there). Flemming tells Lexie he would rather play the piano for a living but doesn’t have the courage to.
Hector and Duncan, thinking the camera's would be better inside the house, change their positions without Archie's knowledge.
Katrina and Archie admit their feelings for each other and Katrina decides to stay away because it’s causing to much grief.
Justine and Lexie fight over Archie, Justine claiming Lexie is no competition. Lexie decides they both can't stay so she starts to pack up to leave, including all the kitchen utensils. Archie comes in in the middle of this, dragging Justine outside to have a chat. As they go off to talk, the rest of the gang are playing on the computer on the Glenbogle website and witness Archie and Justine breaking up. Justine leaves
Glenbogle.
Now that all the team building is done, Mary reveals that she was actually the one who gets to choose who is fired from the bank, and she fires Nigel for not being a team player. But Flemming claims he's quitting to be with Lexie and play the piano. But Lexie explains to him she wants to stay because she loves Archie, Flemming doesn't argue, just tells Lexie how lucky Archie is. |
