Case File: Second Star on the Right and Straight on till Morning
July 2nd, Wednesday

[sound of water running]
Thank god for a chance to be away from that idiot! I have never seen anyone who could be so uncaring for the wellbeing of his fellow officers.

After being quarentined yesterday afternoon, Dr Harris, who was in charge of the CDC's investigation checked us over. We each came out clear, and she allowed me to continue my work on the bodies in a contained area.

[water stops]
We found traces of a fine composite powder residue in the victims lungs. We believe this is what caused the deaths of the 28 people. There has been a zero amount in us, which leads me to believe it is not air born. None of the victims had cases of epilepsy before this, though one was diabetic. Also, we found that chlorine in small amounts will neutralize the effect of this powder, which explains why the fish and this one man are alive. Agent shoemocker has descovered the man's name to be Ernie Bridges, 5'9, 187 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes. Licence CHT5X1.

Also, we found that the quarentine suits we were given yesterday were unneeded. Shoemocker has become the proud new owner of one, as he ruined any uses of it trying to find a way to smoke. We also spent the night in a quarentine bubble as well just in case. Though luckily he got a seperate "smoking" one.

There is an oasis out about 5 miles from the trailer site. We will be going out there later today. Hopefully we can rap this up and get the hell away from that man.
