3000 Pro Series, Bologna Motorshow (I), December 6th 2004
Like F3000 Italia, the 3000 Pro Series was a new series whose Bologna Motorshow debut would precede a full programme in 2005.
The event was open to the Lola B99/50 chassis, with teams who had run it in Euro 3000's final season making up the majority of the entry. Gabriele Lancieri, a Bologna F3000 veteran, finally took a win with ADM, ahead of team-mate Giacomo Vargiu. Fausto Ippoliti (Draco) beat Gianmaria Gabbiani in the final for third place, the latter driving for the new Giudici team.
