Bomb Boogie Formula 3000, Bologna Motorshow (I), December 3rd 2005

The 2005 track layout

For 2005, the Bologna Motorshow F3000 event saw cars from the F3000 Italia championship taking part. The entry list saw a mixture of Lola B2/50 and B99/50 chassis.

In the final, 2004 winner Marco Bonanomi was again victorious, this time racing for Fisichella Motor Sport, the new team of F1 star Giancarlo Fisichella.

Toni Vilander was the runner-up, for Sighinolfi, while Tuka Rocha beat GP Racing team-mate Alvaro Parente, the British F3 champion, to third place. Rocha was a last minute stand in for GP2 and A1 GP driver Nelson Piquet Jr, who had to pull out with other commitments.
