| Rookies to legends: Miss Kitty, WWF magazine 1999 In August 1999, Jeff Jarrett generously bestowed on Debra a token of his appreciation for all her hard work as executive director of Jeff Jarrett Enterprises. His gift was a personal assistant, Miss Kitty. However, from the first day on the job, this woman has been anything but help to the gracious Debra. A personal assistant's job is to make the life of the one assisted easier. Debra's life, however, has been anything but easy ever since Miss Kitty entered the picture. Perhaps the only assistance Miss Kitty has offered Debra has been in fetching aspirin for the numerous headaches she has caused Debra thus far. It's safe to say that from the beginning, Debra did not seem too pleased with Jeff's idea of generosity. It was written all over Debra's face, as Miss Kitty entered the arena in Ames, Iowa. Debra was quick to hide her feelings, but it's just a matter of time before her true colors are revealed. Is it "catty" jealousy--or does Debra recognize Miss Kitty as a ruthless fame-seeking predator? It's no secret that cats and dogs do not get along, the former often being the ones antagonized. In the case of Miss Kitty and Debra, just the opposite may be occuring. It is obvious Miss Kitty has loftier ambitions than attending to the needs of Debra. In fact, she may very well be trying to nose Debra's "puppies" out of Jeff Jarrett Enterprises. The question is, are Miss Kitty's motives on the small scale--taking Debra's position as executive director? Perhaps her ulterior motive is a grander one--the World Wrestling Federation Women's Championship. Although we have yet to witness any athetlic, let alone wrestling, skills from the woman, what better way to gain access to it than through assisting the former Women's Champion? Regardless of what her motives are, one thing is certain--Miss Kitty is here to stay and intent on marking her territory. Perhaps, in time, the world will discover if this cat has the purr of a kitten or the roar of a tigress... |
