DRCs for Thursday, November 08, 2001
It looks like everyone is feeling bad about yesterday's lack of DRCs and over-compensated today.
OmniLink: It sure does. But just think, its going to get a lot worse.
Two points on Goober's DRCs:
First of all, excellent job. "4rd", and "our forums" had me laughing quite hard. As did many other things. And 19 DRCs. Not bad at all. But be prepared for next week, when people stop caring about you and send you 5 crappy DRCs. I was unprepared, and my second edition was just plain brutal. *pretends other editions were somehow different*
Second, in response to the guy who asked about bypassing a firewall: If you haven't already, ask Lak. He might know. -hylien007
OmniLink: I'm surprised being a guest answerer and getting more DRCs than some people have recieved for a long time. This must mean that I am far superior to all the other staff members...I'm not going to be an answerer again am I?
I'm finally back from 3 days of having my internet disconnected. So now I can either work on this hard ass assignment due in two days or see all I missed at the board.
I'm not going to be getting much sleep tomorrow. -OmniLink
OmniLink: Yes, those 3 days sure did suck. Well I guess the fact that you're here answering all these DRCs shows how diligently you're working on that assignment and no, you won't be sleeping much tonight. Now get back to work you lazy sack of crap.
OmniLink: Sack!?!
Hey, I can call my ma' from up here! -garman
OmniLink: You're lucky, I don't even have a phone here so I can't call my ma.
OmniLink: You forgot to tell her to "get off the dang roof" what kind of son are you?
two DRCs. WDIIA sucks. -hylien007
OmniLink: Given that I've octupled his amount, its suffice to say he does indeed suck.
Sliced bread wasn't around before 1985. It's true! -Avolin
OmniLink: Good god, how the hell did people survive back then?
How the hell did you get to be a guest DRC answerer? -OmniLink
OmniLink: I'm a sexy bitch, thats how.
Smite, you are no good at telling me I sucked on Wednesday. In fact it was almost complimentary. I cant beleive you...dont even try ok? Hmm...I wonder if someone cool like Julius Ceaser or Jesus is going to answer today, since Boris is out...supposedly. -Goober
OmniLink: You're comparing me to Jesus, I'm much cooler then that guy.
Jesus: He's right you know
In other news, I just picked up Rogue Leader at Walmart. It's so sweet; except for the part where I get to look at the thing for a week, but oh well. I had to inform the lady there that "Yes, they are for sale. They are in the cases." Another one of my lines was: "No, the Gamecube is $200. The MSRP is $199.99....Oh, MSRP stands for Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price." I said it pretty loud and a couple of older guys that were standing around were amazed that it was so cheap. Well, cheap compared to other options. So I may have converted potential ecksbocks buyers to getting a cube and I got to show everyone the stupidity of the people working at Walmart. My deed for the day is done. -garman
OmniLink: Everything related to Walmart is stupid. I have a couple friends who used to work there so I've heard a lot of stories about the idiocy of a lot of the old haggy workers, but also stories about how they destroyed thousands of dollars of products goofing around in the back and not getting caught since his sub-manager was also part of the hyjinx.
"This official seal is you assurance that Nintendo has approved the quality of this product. Always look for this seal when buying games and accessories to ensure complete compatibility."
Immortal words, my friends. Immortal words. -garman
OmniLink: They are indeed. For a quality based company like Nintendo that seal actually means something.
~has another delayed reaction~
The rock thing is an old joke from when I was little. I can laugh at it and you can't, or at least you can't fully appreciate it, whoever asked that the other day. Crap, man, I work here and I don't even read the site every day. Perhaps that's why we get only 2 DRCs sometimes... -Survivor
OmniLink: That 2 DRC day never would have happened if I didn't stop sending in my 3-4 DRCs a day, caused by these damn mid terms. But WDIIA does deserve honourable mention for actually replying to those 2 instead of just leaving it for the next day and keeping the reliability of Nintendorks Lite up to standards.
Goober made me cry. Oh well, at least he uses hidden text. -Jai Deliete
OmniLink: Hidden text is a power that should be used sparingly and only utilized unless necessary for the good of man kind, much like TTS.
Awww, poor Nintendorks ~Lite~. Only 2 DRC's, eh?
*floods site with DRC's* -El Luchadore Magnifico
OmniLink: That 2 DRC day was a scary day indeed, luckily drinking removes all fear.
I sent WDIIA a DRC. I sent it before they went up, and my DRC wasn't included. So if WDIIA had just waited a little while, he couls have had a whopping THREE DRCs! -hylien007
OmniLink: I also sent in a late DRC that would have got posted. WDIIA's lack of DRCs was all his fault.
Yay! The Tick premieres tonight! -hylien007
OmniLink: I love The Tick, but that show has a lot of potential to suck harder than... a french whore saving up for a GameCube. I hope the show lives up to the greatness of the comic and doesn't fail like the cartoon show.
hylien007: Fail?! The cartoon was good! Granted, not as good as the comic, but it was damn good!
Parting Words, by OmniLink
Spotting for Boris was an honourable task that and I was glad to take. Now like Himura Kenshin I must become a wandering ronin once again but I may some day return.
Added note, by hylien007
After all the trashing WDIAA got today, I officially name him the new Nintendorks ~Lite~ whipping boy!
Survie, you're finally off the hook.
WDIIA, you suck.
Less-Delayed Reaction, By Survivor
Bitchin'! ~punches WDIIA in the crotch~
