Some quick news (which of course, no one cares about but me): I checked
out my local TRU to see about GCN reservations and preorders. Here is the scoop
(scooooooppp...) - thing is, they are NOT taking system preorders yet, but I
could have reserved from LM, Pikmin, RS2, TH3, Matt Hoffman, and some Baseball
game. Thing is, I already 'own' RS2 (thanks to the glory of frees shipping from
Lucasarts), and I didnt feel like reserving Pikmin sinc eit wont LAUNCH with the
system. And LM, well, I just didnt have the cash on me. Here is the kicker,
the real tomato, the thing that I am writing this UDRC for. According to the
super well educated and trained TRU store worker man, the GCN has been delayed
to the 15th (ok...) of November, due to the recent "tradgedy". So if 'delay'
means misreading the shipping list to put it 3 days early, then, thats ok. And
I would not consider the Spaceworld announcement a 'tradgey' since he could NOT
have been referring to any other world tradegedies sine they DONT ****** INVOLVE
GAMECUBE. I was about to just laugh in his face...but I couldnt bring my self
to rock his feeble clerck world like that. Maybe next time, if he doesnt see
the error of his ways...
Oh, and they had the DVD player showing GCN stuff, on a 13" TV, yet it still
looked tons better than anything on the PS2 set up they had. HAHA PS2. And the
Xbox setup...well, the DVD player the GCN disc was playing on was smaller than
the console...HAHAH Xbox. HAHAH everyone but GCN. HAHHA. -Goober
