Still of the night
By: Lady Silver Yarrow
I hear you crying
In the still of the night
Weeping so softly
You may think
No one hears
But one of your children
Does hear you, Great Mother
I hear you, weeping
Softly to yourself
I know why you weep
For I weep as well
For those who do not understand
or hear your words
You shall be alone no more
For now I cry,  Great mother
We shall cry together
In the still of the night.
