More blasts in Central Sulawesi
Three explosions have rocked the town of Poso in Indonesia's Central Sulawesi
province.
A police officer said the blasts did not cause injuries or serious damage in the town
where Muslims and Christians have clashed in the past.
He said an investigation was underway.
Sectarian violence in Poso and the surrounding district since 2000 has claimed 1,000
lives and driven tens of thousands from their homes.
Despite a peace deal last December, sporadic violence has resurfaced in recent
months.
A second round of government-sponsored peace talks was held last week.
The government has sent more troops to boost security in Poso, bringing the number
there to at least four battalions.
An Indonesian battalion comprises between 650 and 1,000 men.
