Explosion damages five houses in Klender
JAKARTA (JP): A strong blast damaged five houses in a densely populated Kampung
Bulak area in Klender, East Jakarta, late on Monday, report said.
No casualties were reported in the incident, but police have secured the area for
further investigation.
Jakarta has been rocked by a spate of bombing, among the latest took place early
hours on June 2 near Eksotis discotheque in the Mangga Besar area in Central
Jakarta. The explosion injured at least five people, mostly street vendors who opened
their kiosks outside the discotheque. (edt)
