Early Sunday (19 May), a pro-FKM (Maluku Sovereignty Front) group led by Femmy Souissa attacked the house of the presumed leader of the local Gang "Coker", Berthy Loupatty. Also on Sunday morning, the Laskar Jihad handed over 878 weapons to the security apparatus at the Amal Sholeh Mosque in Kebun Cengkeh, Ambon, consisting of military and homemade firearms as well as explosives. At 7 am, a bomb exploded in a store at Jl. Imam Bonjol. According to Ambon Ekspres, there were no casualties. The police confirmed the explosion, but refused to give comments. Ryamizard Ryacudu, announced that the military is currently training a rapid response unit in Ambon that consists of troops from the Army, Air Force and Navy.
