Ship look very similar to late 20th century United States Air Force supersonic recon aircraft known as the YF-12 and or SR-71 Blackbird. Much like the Blackbird was with the exception of its manuverability... The Stealthlon Classes are the fastest and most manuverable ships of any kind in the UNSF Inventory, and it is rumored that the EDF & UNSF Intelligence Organizations have their own Stealthlon Class ships as well, and without a doubt the Stealthlon Classes have become the most popular among the UNSF TASK Force Commanders and the most infamous to the Imperial Armada, aka Imperial Navy. One notable commander, Admiral Beckerd A. "Blackbird" Benson, has made the ship very popular & legend among the UNSF cadets. The Stealthlon Classes find no short of duties and are sometimes overburdened with tasks as they are constantly called to perform tasks by TASK FORCOM, UNSF Intel, EDF Intel, & UNSF Science & Exploration Command. The Stealthlon II Class are also the only ships capable of dealing with the Imperial Long Sword VI Class Cruisers. Stealthlon II Class are the 4th newest ship in the Fleet but remain by far the most advanced and most lethal in the fleet. Weapons -2x 25in. Foward Firing Rail Cannons - on the under side of the starboard & port inner wings of the ship near the the particle collector nascles. -2x Rayon ASM Octal Launchers - on the top side of the starboard & port inner wings, located more aft and closer to the fuselage of the ship. Ship holds 1200 Rayon ASM-475 Shipwrecker Anti-Ship Missles that are used with these launchers. -6x 10in. Particle Cannons - 3 located on starboard neck fuselage of the ship and 3 located on port neck fuselage of the ship. -2x Thomson-Centra Aft Torpedo Launchers - Ship holds 450 Whiplash Mk.47 Antimatter Shaped Warhead tipped Torpedos that used exclusively with this launcher. The launcher itself being fairly standard issue for all UNSF combat vessels. -8x Mawc Point Defense Missle Launchers (SAMs) - 4 located on the top & bottom, foward edge of starboard & port inner wings, near fuselage of ship. 4 located on the top & bottom, aft edge of starboard & port inner wings, near fuselage of ship. Ship holds 850 Black Magic Anti- Space Fighter Missles (Point Defense Missles) that are used exclusively with this launcher platform. The launcher is fairly standard issue and used on all UNSF combat vessels that are able to be equipped. Black Magic PDM are exclusively used against space fighters. -4x Phalanx VII Point Defense Autocannons- 2 located starboard & port on central part of neck fuselage on ship. 2 located starboard and port on aft fuselage of ship. Usually used to take incoming Anti-ship missles. -1x Skunk Works Origin Anti-Ship Mine Launcher- located under aft/stern fuselage of ship facing aft. Ship holds 300 Foul Trick Anti-Ship Mines tipped with Anti-Matter warheads. |
