UNSF: Evils Thought Dead

Screen fades from black as a shuttle lands on Gara IV and Colonel Jim Brungess steps out and onto Garian soil, a serious expression on his face.  Music is slow and calming. Voiceover of Col. Eric Meelan: "There's something gong on here." Brungess: "Well what do you think it is?" Meelan: "I have no idea." Cut to Admiral Thomasm Ross in Admiral Sean Story's office.  "Imperials have landed on Gara IV." Quick shot of the brand-new Explorer-B and a cut to Captain Mansel sitting in the captain's chair, watching an announcement from Story. Cut to Admiral Story's face on the display unit: "Gara IV has been quarantined." Cut to Mansel:  "We gotta get Jim and Meelan out." Music picks up as you see Mansel in BDUs running through the woods. Camera cuts to Brungess hiding behind a wall, firing a handgun at someone off screen. Cut to Meelan running to take cover, bullets peppering the ground behind him.  He dives for cover. Meelan: "This is all your fault Jim!" Cut to Major Gant running away from a tank.  He dives as the tank explodes. Music slows again as Brungess, Meelan, and Gant are standing over a pile of ashes, wind ripping their uniforms.  Meelan bends down and picks up a handful of the ashes. Camera closes in on Meelan's hand as the ashes blow away to reveal a finger and a wedding band attached to it.  He looks up at the other two to see the grim looks on thier faces. Slow motion as Meelan is shot in the stomach. Cut to Brungess reaching to Meelan from his hiding place, mouth open, still slow motion. Cut to Mansel bending his head down, a tear falling from his face. Fade from black, in red letters: UNSF: Evils Thought Dead
