Bio:
Antistatic are a young new Australian band from Perth with a big future
ahead of them. Combining a number of diverse influences and styles, the fundamental Antistatic sound fuses emotionally-driven melodies and lyrics
together with violently heavy riffs and beats, but is just as capable of
delivering a mellow acoustic number and more. The end result is an unrelenting
aggressive sound, but a memorable one that retains its’ accessibility through
the good use of melody and well-written songs. Drawing on a number of contemporary and older artists for inspiration, the sound that emerges is a
highly original and technical one that features dense chord structures, odd time
signatures and bizarre new sounds, all of which are created only with the
guitar, bass and drums. This is a band with a distinct voice - one that has
audiences truly captivated - or in fits of rage inside the moshpit. We will play
