Singer/Songwriter and Recording Artist -"Anthony Nieves"
Anthony has been writing original songs for about seven years and during this
time he has been a part of several band line ups, performed as part of a duet
and also solo which remains his current status as a recording artist.
Album & Video clip
Anthony is currently rounding things up in the studio with Perth Sound Producer
Rob Agostini (Soundbaker studios) The final Mixing and Production of the
material developed at Soundbaker is on the way and being prepared for the EP
release in early 2004.
The feature song for the EP will be accompanied by a Video clip which was shot
in may 2003. The footage is being composed and edited by Anthony at the FLUIDGROUND home studio. The first beta edit was burned to DVD Thursday Oct 30
and is evidence that it is shaping up quite nicely. Completion date is Friday
November 7 2003. (lookout for it on RAGE in early 2004.)
Despite the amount of work involved, Anthony wrote and directed all the scenes
for the clip, and was so enthused by the project there is talk of a second Video
Clip to accompany one of the other songs from the upcoming EP.
Achievements

perform solo against full band line ups and still achieve a place in the
semi-finals.

talent.

in the Pop Rock Division.

received a semi-finalist place.
Pop is not a dirty word
"I enjoy many styles of weird and creative music but not everyone is like that,
therefore I consciously and deliberately try to write in a style intended for
the vast majority. It gives me great satisfaction to know that many others are
enjoying the music I have created."
