Based in Melbourne, Australia, Hollow Imagery is set to be one of the hottest
progressive rock bands around!
The name Hollow Imagery represents ‘Music’ at its finest, or imagery within the
mind brought out by captivating sounds shifting the mood of the listener. The
type of music that sets off your imagination and takes you on a journey of
experiences, created by a group of four individually influenced artists bringing
together styles from a number of different genres, which are combined to form
the distinct Hollow Imagery sound, described as a great mix of seventies style
rock infused with a grunge flavor, delivered in a new brand of psychedelic mood
rock that must be heard to be believed.
“Crisp playing from another band who know their stuff. It varied a bit with some
bluesier elements creeping in. The singer belted it out with some neo metal
screeches. The band worked out some interesting structures for the songs.” Neil

Catchy Rock n’ roll riff’s mixed with a funky contemporary rhythm section is
torn apart with wailing guitars, and delivered with Grunge influenced vocals
entirely capturing the imagination of the audience with furious intensity and
‘strong stage charisma,’ which in turn allows for powerful and entertaining live
shows that the band has always been keen to maintain and improve.
The Hollow Imagery has played many venues around town, with strong performances
at the Espy, Laundry, Armadale, Brass Monkey and the Tote, as well as supporting
YOU-AM-I and Magic Dirt, and making live appearances on radio stations 97.9FM
and 88.3FM.
In the future, the Hollow Imagery hopes to record a lot more music, commonly
sharing the belief that with ample studio time they are capable of putting out
an album worthy of anybodies musical preference, and also to play a lot more
live shows, because that is what it’s all about…
