A fresh new face on the local Perth music scene, MY BROTHER BEN have emerged at a time when vibrant acoustic music is really starting to shine, and audiences are no longer happy to settle for the same 4 chord ballads yet again.
With the road paved by such acts as The Waifs and the John Butler Trio, MY BROTHER BEN present their own unique take on these styles, with a line-up that include two distinct vocalists, supported strongly by guitar, bass and drums. With band members coming from folk, rock, and classical backgrounds, the band is a melting pot of melody and emotion and strives to create a sound that is both rewarding to listen to and easy to relate to.
With a set that can be both intimate and lively, they have the ability to mould to any setting, and always put in the effort to create an enjoyable show. The male and female vocals interweave and contrast against each other, in front of a strong rhythm section that isn't afraid to show it's sensitive side when needed.
With numerous gigs under their belt already MY BROTHER BEN have just finished recording 4 tracks in the studio and are eager to make a big impression on audiences everywhere. With regular gigs on the horizon, you're more than likely to see them soon at a venue near you.
